The Benjamin Logan 8th grade girls were knocked out of the CBC tournament Thursday night at Tippecanoe 48-25. A 7 point game at halftime stayed close for a few minutes for the third quarter but an 18-4 spurt by the Red Devils opened up a 42-21 lead heading into the fourth quarter, and they never looked back.  Savannah Pavoni finished with 17 points, Peyton Derr had 5, Ryann Beaschler scored 2, and Hunter Deickert had 1.  The Raiders finish the season 15-4.  

Benjamin Logan will host the 7th and 8th grade CBC tournament finals this Saturday with 7th grade (Tipp vs. Tecumseh) starting at 10:00 and 8th grade (Tipp vs. Greenon) starting at 11:30.

The #10 seed Ben Logan 7th grade girls lost at #7 seed Graham 16-35 to finish the season 1-15.  I'm sorry but I do not have leading scorers for the Raiders.

The #5 seed Ben Logan 8th grade girls won at home vs. #12 Urbana 48-15 as they rushed out to a 29-4 halftime lead.  Savannah Pavoni scored 16 of her 22 points in the first half, Hallie Anderson scored a career best 8 points and had 7 rebounds, Ryann Beaschler scored 7 points, Rachel Mears scored 6 points on 2 three-pointers, Peyton Derr had 3 points, and Madison Copenhaver scored 2 points.  Winners of 12 of the last 13 games they improve to 14-3 on the season and will next travel to #4 seed Bellefontaine (their one loss in that stretch) on Monday for a 5:30 start.

The Benjamin Logan 7th grade girls basketball team lost to Kenton Tuesday night 37-6.  Corinne Herring, Autumn Gray, and Emily Roth each scored 2 points.  The 7th grade finish regular season play at 1-14 and will play at Graham Saturday morning at 10:00.

The Ben Logan 8th grade girls jumped out to a 29-2 halftime lead and cruised to a 44-21 victory against Kenton.  Savannah Pavoni scored 27, Julie-Ann Shirk had 7, Rachel Mears tallied 5, Peyton Derr had 3, and Ryann Beaschler scored 2 points.  The 8th grade finish the regular season at 13-3 and will host Urbana on Saturday in the first round of the CBC tournament.

The Benjamin Logan 7th grade girls basketball team lost at Tecumseh Monday night 34-9.  Autumn Gray scored 4 points, and Corinne Herring and Emily Roth each made a basket.  The Raiders drop to 1-13 on the year.

The Ben Logan 8th grade won at Tecumseh 39-33 behind 26 points and 10 rebounds from Savannah Pavoni.  Peyton Derr scored 8 points, Bethany Lowery had 3, and Ryann Beaschler scored 2 points. The Raiders took care of the ball by only committing 7 turnovers in the game and that helped secure the win.  Tecumseh drops to 10-5 and Ben Logan improves to 12-3 by winning their 10th in 11 games.

Both Raider teams host Kenton Tuesday night for their last regular season game.

The Raider 7th grade will open the CBC tournament as the #10 seed and play at Graham this Saturday at 10:00.

The Raider 8th grade will open CBC tournament play as the #5 seed and host Urbana this Saturday at 10:00. The winner of that game will play at #4 Bellefontaine on Monday, February 1st at 5:30.  Tecumseh is the #3 seed in the tournament, Tipp is #1, and Greenon is #2.

_The Benjamin Logan 7th grade girls lost to Indian Lake Thursday night 16-13. Sydney Puckett scored 4 points, Sadie Shellenberger, Autumn Gray, Emily Roth, and Kenidi Greene all each scored 2 points, and Kayla Martin made a FT.  The loss drops the Raiders to 1-12 on the year.

The Ben Logan 8th grade girls snapped Indian Lake's 7 game win streak by winning their 5th in a row by the score of Lakers 34-21.  With a 16-13 lead half way through the 3rd quarter, the Raiders went on a 18-2 run to seal the win.  Savannah Pavoni scored 17 points, Peyton Derr had 8 points, and Julie-Ann Shirk scored 6, but it was the pressure defense that led the Raiders to victory.  With the win they move to 11-3 on the season as the Lakers fall to 9-4.  

Benjamin Logan 7th and 8th grade girls will travel to Tecumseh next Monday.

The Benjamin Logan 7th grade girls basketball team lost at Graham Wednesday night 31-10.  Kenidi Greene scored 4 points, Corrine Herring, Emily Roth, Kylie Honaker, and Kayla Martin each scored 2 points.  That puts their record at 1-11 on the year.  Graham was led by Lexie King with 14 points.

The Ben Logan 8th grade beat Graham 50-20. Savannah Pavoni led all scorers with 26 but almost everyone got in on the scoring tonight. Rachel Mears had 6, Ryann Beaschler, Hunter Deickert, and Julia-Ann Shirk each scored 4, and Bethany Lowery, Peyton Derr, and Madison Copenhaver all had 2 points.  The win improves the Raiders to 10-3 on the season.

Both teams host Indian Lake on Thursday.

The Benjamin Logan 7th grade girls basketball team beat Northwestern 18-8 Tuesday night for their first win of the season.  Coach Inskeep's team was led in scoring by Autumn Gray's 8 points, and Corinne Herring, Emily Roth, Kylie Honaker, Tori Miller, and Kenidi Greene all each scored 2 points.  Their record is now 1-10 as they travel to Graham tomorrow.

The Ben Logan 8th grade girls team jumped out to a 16-1 halftime lead against NW and cruised to the 34-16 win to up their record to 9-3 on the season.  Savannah Pavoni scored 23 and Peyton Derr had 8 points but it was the team's defense that shut down the Warriors and put Ben Logan up early. 

Both teams travel to Graham on Wednesday and host Indian Lake on Thursday.

The Benjamin Logan 7th grade girls basketball team lost at Riverside Saturday morning 28-11. For the Raiders, Kayla Martin, Autumn Gray, Sydney Puckett, and Tori Miller, and Kennedi Greene all each scored 2 points, and Corrine Herring had 1.  The loss drop them to 0-9 on the season.  

The Ben Logan 8th grade girls team won at Riverside 44-24.  Savannah Pavoni scored 22, Ryann Beaschler scored 8, Julie-Ann Shirk had 6, Rachel Mears 4, and Bethany Lowery and Peyton Derr each scored 2 points.  The win proves the Raiders to 7-3 on the season.  

Both teams host Urbana on Monday starting at 5:30.

The Benjamin Logan 7th grade girls basketball team lost at Bellefontaine Thursday night 24-14.  Tori Miller scored a career high 9 points, and Kylie Honaker and Sydney Puckett each scored 2. Their record drops to 0-8.

The Ben Logan 8th grade girls also lost at Bellefontaine 30-28.  Savannah Pavoni scored 13, Peyton Derr had 8, and Ryann Beaschler scored 5.  The Raiders were winning by 1 with 20 seconds left but Bellefontaine got a steal and Taizha Collier made a 3 pointer with 15 seconds left to lift the Chieftains to the win. Collier finished with a game high 15 points and Hannah Rader scored 10  points.  The loss drops Ben Logan to 6-3 on the season.  

Both BL teams play at Riverside on Saturday morning.

The Benjamin Logan 7th grade girls basketball team lost at Fairlawn Tuesday night 35-12.  Corrine Herring and Sydney Puckett scored 4 points, and Emily Roth and Tori Miller both scored 2 points.  The girls record drops to 0-7.

The Ben Logan 8th grade girls won at Fairlawn 49-26 by going on a 27-4 run during a 4 min stretch during the 2nd and 3rd quarters.  Savannah Pavoni once again led the way offensively with 30 points and 14 rebounds, Peyton Derr had 8 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists, Bethany Lowery had 3 points on her first career made 3-pointer, and Ryann Beaschler, Julie-Ann Shirk, Madison Copenhaver, and Hallie Anderson all each had 2 points. The girls won their 4th straight to improve to 6-2 on the year.

Both teams will travel to Bellefontaine on Thursday and then Riverside on Saturday morning.

The Benjamin Logan 7th grade girls basketball team fell at home to Jackson Center Thursday night 22-10.  Kayla Martin and Kenidi Greene each scored 3 points. Coach Inskeep's team falls to 0-6 on the year.

The Ben Logan 8th grade girls won their third straight to head into the holiday break by defeating Jackson Center 28-14.  Savannah Pavoni had 17 first half points and 19 total to lead the Raiders once again in scoring.  The 8th grade is now 5-2 on the year.

Both teams wont play again until January 5th at Fairlawn.

The Benjamin Logan 7th grade girls basketball team lost to Northridge Monday night 47-5.
Sydney Puckett and Kayla Martin scored 2 each and Tori Miller made a FT.  They are now 0-5.

The Ben Logan 8th grade girls defeated Northridge 41-25 at home.  Savannah Pavoni scored 23 points and had 14 rebounds, Julie-Ann Shirk scored 8 points and had 4 steals, Peyton Derr scored 6 points, Madison Copenhaver and Hallie Anderson each scored 2, and Ryann Beaschler grabbed 10 rebounds.  The 8th grade improves to 4-2 on the season.

Both teams will host Jackson Center on Thursday at home starting at 5:30.

The Benjamin Logan 7th grade girls basketball team lost at Shawnee Wednesday night 30-19 with only 6 girls available as three girls were home sick.  Corinne Herring scored 8, Kayla Martin scored 4, Kylie Honaker had 3 points, and Autumn Gray and Emily Roth each scored 2.  Their record falls to 0-4.

The Ben Logan 8th grade girls team fought off a pesky Shawnee team and secured the 41-38 win.  Savannah Pavoni scored 14 and Peyton Derr had 11.  Hallie Anderson scored a career high 8 points, Ryann Beaschler scored 4, and Julie-Ann Shirk scored 4 and played an outstanding defensive game.  The Raiders improve to 3-2 on the season.

Both teams will host Northridge next Monday night.

The Benjamin Logan 8th grade girls basketball team defeated Ridgemont tonight by a score of 50-39.  For the Raiders, Savannah Pavoni scored 34 and Peyton Derr scored 8 points.  Ridgemont was led by Jennifer Jordan's 29 points. The Raiders improve to 2-1 and Ridgemont drops their first game played of the season.

There was no 7th grade game, Ridgemont did not have enough girls for 2 teams.

The Benjamin Logan 7th grade girls lost at Mad River Stebbins Monday night 32-8.  Autumn Gray scored 7 points and Kenedi Greene made a foul shot.  They fall to 0-2.

The Ben Logan 8th grade girls won at Mad River Stebbins 35-28.  Savannah Pavoni scored 20, Peyton Derr scored 7, Madison Copenhaver had 4, and Rachel Mears and Bethany Lowery each scored 2.  Julie-Ann Shirk was a defensive spark off the bench and caused many Stebbins turnovers.  The 8th grade improves to 1-1.

On Wednesday, the 8th grade only will host Ridgemont starting at 5:30.

The Benjamin Logan 7th grade lost at home against Tippecanoe Monday night 45-4.  Scoring for the Raiders were Savannah Cronkleton and Kayle Martin. 

The Ben Logan 8th grade team led Tipp at the half 15-12, and trailed by only 2 late in the contest but eventually fell 39-34.  Savannah Pavoni scored 17 points, Peyton Derr had 12, and Ryann Beaschler had 5 points for the Raiders who went 17/31 from the foul line. 

It was both team's first game of the season.

Ben Logan will next play at Mad River Stebbins next Monday.

The Benjamin Logan 7th grade girls won their 1st round game of the CBC tournament Saturday defeating Northridge 41-25. Savannah Pavoni had a double-double with 26 points and 16 rebounds while Rachel Mears had a career-high 8 points. The Lady Raiders (8-7) advance to play at Tipp City Monday at 5:30.

The Benjamin Logan 8th grade girls won their opening CBC tournament game over Graham 35-17. Pamela Kelly and Olivia Roose were in double figures with 10 points each while LeAnn Regula added 9. The 8th grade girls (9-7) will play in 2nd round action at Springfield Shawnee Monday at 5:30.

The Benjamin Logan 8th grade team lost to Northridge 31-22 as Haley Wilson scored 10 points for the Raiders.

Both teams host Riverside on Thursday (maybe #snow).

 night 38-37 in overtime.  Savannah Pavoni scored 18 points and had 17 rebounds, Ryann Beaschler scored 9, and Rachel Mears had 4 points for the Raiders.  The Raiders were plagued by going 1/16 from the foul line.

The Ben Logan 8th grade girls team lost to the undefeated Tecumseh Arrows 60-11.  Haley Wilson was the Raiders leading scorer with 4 points.

Both team travel to Indian Lake on Tuesday for their next game.

The Benjamin Logan 7th grade girls team improved to 6-5 on the year with a 41-20 win over Graham Tuesday
 night.  For the Raiders, Savannah Pavoni scored 24 points, Julie-Ann Shirk scored 6, Ryann Beachsler had 5, Gabrielle Schmidt scored 4, and Rachel Mears had 2.

The Ben Logan 8th grade team also improved to 6-5 with the 27-23 win over Graham.  7 different Raider girls scored as all ten contributed to the victory.  Ben Logan actually led 24-8 with just 4 minutes left to play before Graham made a nice comeback to make it interesting.  Pamela Kelly scored 8, Catherine Rhodes and LeAnn Regula each had 4, Oliva Roose, Grace Deardruff, and Haley Wilson all scored 3 points, and Katelyn Shellenberger scored 2. In an interesting side note, Katelyn Nash led the Falcons with 9 points (all in the 4th quarter).  She also led the 7th grade Falcon team in scoring with 15.

 night 34-32.  Savannah Pavoni scored 11, Peyton Derr had 9, and Rachel Mears scored 6 for the Raiders.  Hannah Rader led all scorers with 14 for the Chieftains.

The Ben Logan 8th grade girls team lost 38-21.  Pamela Kelly scored 11, Haley Wilson had 4, and Tori Wohlgamuth, Oliva Roose, and Madison Manns each scored 2 points.  The loss drops the Raiders to 4-4 on the season.

Both teams play at Kenton next Tuesday starting at 5:00

The Benjamin Logan 7th grade girls basketball team won at Ridgemont Monday night 37-33.
Savannah Pavoni led the Raiders with 23 points, Kenzie Deardorff scored 6, Ryann Beaschler had 4, and Peyton Derr and Bethany Lowery each scored 2.  For Ridgemont, Nadia Martino scored 13 and Jennifer Jordan scored 11.  The Raiders improve to 4-3 on the season as Ridgemont drops to 1-2.  Both teams take the rest of the year off and get back going again in January.

 night 31-28. Savannah Pavoni scored 16, Ryann Beachler had 5, Kenzie Deardorff scored 3, and Bethany Lowery and Peyton Derr each had 2 points.  The 7th grade record falls to 3-3 on the season.
The Ben Logan 8th grade got the win against Shawnee 31-25. Pamela Kelly scored 12 including a huge 3-pointer with about a minute to go, Haley Wilson scored 11, LeAnn Regula had 4, and Olivia Roose and Catherine Rhodes each scored 2 points.  The win improves the 8th grade Lady Raiders to 4-3 as they stretch their winning streak to 4 going into the holidays.  On a side note, the win was the 100th win for Coach Jamie Hughes at Benjamin Logan as the 8th grade girls coach (9th year at the school). 
The 7th grade girls will play a game that was added to the schedule just today and that is AT Ridgemont Monday the 22nd starting at 5:00  It is a 7th grade only girls game.
The 8th grade won't play again until Jan 6th.

The Benjamin Logan 8th grade girls basketball team traveled to Upper Scioto Valley Wednesday
 night and won 35-7.  Pamela Kelly led the Raiders with 14 points as 8 different girls scored.  Olivia Roose had 6, Haley Wilson-4, Savannah Pavoni-3, and Kylie Foresythe, Madison Manns, LeAnn Regula, and Catherine Rhodes all each had one basket.  Ben Logan evens their record at 3-3 on the year.  There was no 7th grade team as USV only has one girls team this year. 
Both Raider teams will host Shawnee Thursday night with the 7th grade starting at 5:30

The Benjamin Logan 7th grade girls won at Northwestern Wednesday 
night 35-13 for their 3rd win in 3 nights.  Savannah Pavoni once again led the Raiders in scoring with 10 points. Bethany Lowery scored 8, Kenzie Deardorff-6, Gabrielle Schmidt-4, Ryann Beaschler-2, Hunter Deickert-2, Peyton Derr-2, and Julie-Ann Shirk had 1.
The Raiders are now 3-1 on the young season.

The Ben Logan 8th grade girls basketball team got their first win of the year 29-28.  Haley Wilson scored 10 points, Olivia Roose-7, Pamela Kelly-6, Katelyn Shellenberger-4, and LeAnn Regula-2.  The 8th grade Lady Raiders lost 2 girls to illness just before game time and led by as much as 12 in the second half and hung on for the win as they played their 3rd game in 3 days.  Ben Logan now stands at 1-3 on the season, NW drops to 2-3.

Both teams will play again at home next Monday vs. Greenon.

The Ben Logan 8th grade team lost Jackson Center 37-30.  Pamela Kelly scored 8, Haley Wilson had 6, Olivia Roose scored 5, and Catherine Rhodes and Katelyn Shellenberger each had 4.  The Raiders drop to 0-3 on the season.

Both teams play at Northwestern tomorrow night.

The Benjamin Logan 7th grade basketball team defeated Mad River Monday
 night 12-11 at home.  Savannah Pavoni scored 10 of the Raider points and Gabrielle Schmidt had he other 2 points.  The rest of the team contributed by playing great defense and handing the Indians their first loss of the season.  Ben Logan 7th grade team is 1-1 and Mad River drops to 2-1.

The Ben Logan 8th grade team also played 3-0 Mad River and led by 3 with 90 seconds left but couldn't hold on and was defeated 44-41. Pamela Kelly scored 12, Olivia Roose had 10, Haley Wilson and Catherine Rhodes each had 6 points, and LeAnn Regula scored 4.  Makayla Blount scored 31 for the Indians. BL drops to 0-2 on the season.

Both teams travel to Jackson Center on Tuesday for a 5:00 7th grade start.
