123  Hello Benjamin Logan Families!

All of us at Benjamin Logan Middle School hope you are having an incredible summer! While our teachers are recharging and relaxing with their families, our technology, custodial, and maintenance departments have been working very hard to prepare our buildings for another school year.  Their work ethic each year is a reflection of our “Community Pride” in our buildings and on our entire campus.

Many visitors come to Benjamin Logan throughout a school year, and we often receive compliments on how we proudly display our schools, how we showcase our students, and how we value education.  Thank you so much for supporting us every day, which is a direct investment into your child’s education.

Our vision for 2019-20 school year is called, “BLMS Paves the Pathway”.  We are committed over the four years a student is attending BLMS, we will Equip, Empower, and Educate every student, every day!

We will “equip” our students with proper social-emotional skills and emphasize accepting individual differences, while displaying a sense of genuine caring for all.  We will “empower” our students to lift others up, be a positive contributor to our building climate, and to be a leader in the culture of our communities. Lastly, we will “educate” our students with the most updated, effective instructional techniques by making decisions that are based on an individual student’s performance data, and then designing lessons which will promote student growth. We believe this foundation will set our students up for success in high school and beyond.

Parents, guardians, and grandparents, please remember; you are an integral part of our plan to provide an opportunity for success.  Our students reach new heights in all areas when they witness their families engage in their education, attend activities, or even come and have lunch with them.  Our doors are your doors, please come and share in the experience of our school year together!  Our theme for this year is, “The POWER of WE” and you are a part of our WE!

Go Raiders,
Scott Frederick
